Home again....

Ok so i have decided to keep the blog for a bit. i know a few of you really enjoy it. plus its easier to post pictures. this is me and all my luggage (before i had to pay over 200 to get it home with me.)


I have made some lists while being in the states about a few things.

enjoy.



Things I will miss about Deutschland
  1. nutella (the chocolate spread). eating this everyday all day long.
  2. early morning chats with julia
  3. bryan and our bible study. i learned so much
  4. H&M everywhere and Karstadt (like an upscale target. but with more and better)
  5. musli (granola)
  6. brunch or eating just bread and spread for a meal.
  7. biking, for transportation. my bike here needs work and a basket.
  8. the fabulous trains. dang.
  9. counting up change that acctually will add up to something. and paying for something using only change.
  10. cheap airfare. anywhere.
  11. fresh fruit and veggies all the time.
  12. calling my professors by their first name
  13. only having 3-6 other people in my classes
  14. Penny's and other cheap groceries.
Things I will not miss.
  1. 8 am test, every friday morning.
  2. all the rain
  3. creepy men and gross subways.
  4. the euro currency against the dollar (getting screwed)
  5. small fridges and freezers
  6. having the wrong ticket on the subway, because i cant read czech or greek
  7. the german "stare"
  8. bad european smell, dress and hair
  9. pushy people.

Things I learned
(that I know right at this moment and can put on paper, even though there is so much more, that may not hit me until a few months or years)

  1. How to cook. or more or less how to eat healthier and cheap
  2. how to save money but to see and do everything that i ever wanted to and more. to make my money stretch
  3. how to reasearch and write a long paper (18 pages)
  4. who my real friends are
  5. to trust god with everything. it is in his control and his timing is perfect.
  6. Church is outside the four walls of a building
  7. how to overcome culutural and langauge barriers to establish good relationships
  8. German! how to study, speak, read and write and still PASS!! :)

ok enough lists!!! i will post some pictures of my time with ed and my family trip to the smokies!! :)
