hallo alles!

Ich bin nach Stienfield mit mienem Mitbewonhin gefarhen. Wir haben ihren Famile besucht. Am Freitag, haben wir eine Procession gegangen. Es war sehr interesstant, weil es leise war. Dann, haben wir
"Snow White's Castle" besucht.
und jetzt ... i will translate... i mean its not too hard to read but now i can add pictures of the gorgeous southern part of germany for my easter holidays....i went to steinfield with my flatmate, Julia. we visited her family (they dont speak any english, it was fun trying to communicate).
thursday when we arrived we of course had icecream (its addicting here!!) and we walked around in the gorgeous palace...
sooo cool this building like gazebo was decorated out of sea shells, like mosiaic.
this is julia showing me her evening wear from when she was in India. i think its pretty cool.
On friday we went to the Procession, it was intresting because it was a silent parade. kinda weird, but it was awesome to see the face of jesus everywhere... check out this creepy wooded figures....
then we walked around the city, and had ice cream (which according to catholic law its like a sin, because you arnt supposed to have sweets.. haha we were looked at by everyone.... i mean i dont think god's unfailing love toward us is going to be any less because we enjoyed an icecream cone,
but yah. haha this town supposably is the town where the legend of snow white occured... i mean it does look straight of a story book, here is her castle
( i guess disney didnt invent it... haha) later than night we ate some more (story of the weekend) and read out in the sunshine (julia got burnt!) and played some games and dyed a bunch of eggs!!! fun fun!
saturday, we headed to wurzburg, and shopped and ate and talked and we visited the Residenz which is like a fake castle that this Prince bishop (he made the rank up, he thought he was everything) it was gorgeous, and i love the celings
(and i wasnt supposed to be taking pictures... how was i supposed to knoW?) haha then we met up with her sister and ate "auflauf" which is like some baked pasta thing, really great. next we headed to the movies and saw the new film (in german) (well its probably pretty old compared to the states) but the one with drew barrymore and hugh grant. its so funny, i love hugh grants hips and his singing is so funny. i had a beer at the movie theather.
because I COULD. hahah so great. (plus i could understand it!)
sunday, julia and i headed to the easter mass. it was fine, but i wish more people were rejoicing, Jesus has risen! Be happy, he has died but lives in you and me, is what i wanted to scream. but of course not many would understand and the ones who would would think i was crazy. but then we had a traditional German easter lunch, with lamb and these fried potatoe balls (we were all supposed to eat 15 of them. i could barely finish 5. haha they make things soo heavy in germanY!) after that we just played games and relaxed with the cousins
monday was very nice and relaxing, julia and i went on a walk and it was still soo nice weather, we didnt need coats or anything. after a bit of reading in the sun it was time to head back to Lueneburg....
it was a great weekend, very relaxing and really fun. lots of german spoken and understood. (plus for me!)
this week, weather in LG has been wishywashy ( I mean at least its not snowing like in ohio!!haha!!) lots of end of the year school stuff to get done and turn in... i am truly considering minoring in both french and german, it would only be a half a semester more that i would already need to be here... soo yeah? i danno. we will see (but i bet i get screwed by ut... i can already feel it, oh wait because thats whats going on now. grrrr)
still not sure if i am going to stay... my flatmate Kathrin and some really sweet friends are going on a camping trip on memorial day weekend. i really want to stay for that. i am just looking at finacial options and other situtions that need to be addressed if i stay. Pray for me about disernment because i really dont know what to do. If i stay, i would love to travel to Dresden, Munich, switzerland and Athens (and lay on the beach). so yeah. who knows.
how was your easter? try writing me in german!! whooho!
